Use of the [beta]-phase of poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) as a probe into the interfacial interplay for the mixed bilayer films formed by sequential spin-coating
Article Abstract:
The interfacial interplay and the properties of the mixed bilayer films, which have poly(9-vinylcarbazole) and poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-2,7-diyl), fabricated by sequential spin-coating process are examined. A schematic model is developed, the polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) are fabricated based on these mixed bilayers and blue emissions are obtained with increased performances under optimized conditions.

From mesoscale back to atomistic models: A fast reverse-mapping procedure for vinyl polymer chains
Article Abstract:
A systematic procedure is introduced to obtain well-relaxed atomistic melt structures from mesocale models of vinyl polymers based on sequences of diads. This procedure is successfully tested against experimental data which allows obtaining all atom models of both stereoregular and stereoirregular polymers and opens the possibility of relaxing large molecular weight melts of vinyl chains.
